Archive Portal

The Archives are the official repository for the records of the Owners’ and Residents’ Association of Lake Bernard. It contains multiple kinds of records, including documents, photos, maps and other material, that document the rich history of our lake.

You can browse the archives by navigating through the folders below or you can search based on keywords associated with the files. Simply click on a folder to navigate into the subfolders and files. Generally, the folders represent the functions and activities of the Association.

Each filename starts with the year the content was created followed by keywords to help identify the content of the file. Click on “Previous Folder” to navigate up to the containing folder. Or click on a folder name at the top of the folder listing.

You can also search by keyword in the file titles and, in most cases, the content of the files.

The Association Archivist, Charles Topp (archives@lacbernard.ca), supported by the members of the History and Archives Committee, is the keeper of the records. While copies of photos, documents, and oral histories may be used for a variety of purposes (posting on the web site, responding to requests, etc.), the Association Archivist is responsible for storing and maintaining the master copies as the Archives of the Association.
