The online member area on lacbernard.ca is ready. Members can check their membership status, keep contact details up to date, and this year pay securely by credit card from the website—something many of you have asked for. Thank you for your patience while we put this in place.

What you need to sign in

Use the same email address the association already has on file as your main (primary) contact email. That way, when you sign in, the site can connect you to your existing member record, including your 2026 membership status and past years on file, if we have them.

If you use a different email than the one in our records, the site may not find your profile. Try another address with “Use a different email” on the sign-in page, or contact us and we’ll help align your email.

How to sign in

You can Continue with Google or enter your email and choose Send magic link. We’ll email you a one-time link (no password to remember). If you use Google, that Google email should be the same one we have as your primary contact.

What you’ll see

After you sign in, you’ll land in your member area. You should see a short summary of your profile and your membership status for the current calendar year (the association follows the usual January–December year, based on Eastern time). When applicable, you’ll also see earlier years and anything prepaid for future years.

What you can do there

• Update your profile: lake address, phones, mailing address, and optional secondary contact.
• Start or renew your membership for the year when you’re not yet active.
• Pay from the same screen where you pick your type: Pay with credit card (optional donation in the window that opens, then Stripe checkout) or Pay another way (Interac, cheque, or cash—instructions appear after the page updates; you can add an optional donation with the same offline payment—see the note on screen).

Paying by credit card

Pay with credit card takes you through a short, secure checkout (handled by Stripe). You can add an optional donation to support the association in the same step if you wish. When payment succeeds, your membership should show as active shortly after.

If you prefer not to use a card, choose Pay another way on your account; the page will show everything you need for e-Transfer, cheque, or cash, including how to note an optional donation (and you can still switch to card later from the pending section if you want).

Quick steps: buy your 2026 membership online

1. Open the sign-in link above (pick English or French).
2. Sign in with Google or your magic link email.
3. If the site asks you to create or complete your profile, fill it in and save, especially your lake address if you want Voting membership.
4. On your account page, choose Voting or Associate (non-voting), then click Pay with credit card (complete checkout) or Pay another way (then follow the on-screen instructions).

If you already have an active 2026 membership, you’ll see that instead of the payment flow.
