Water Quality Results – 2007

Lake Association Chemical Analysis: September 4, 2007

This purpose of this sampling activity, conducted on September 4th, 2007, was to determine the Lake’s chemical makeup.  Although the goal of this part of the sampling program was to establish benchmarks against which potential future changes in water chemistry could be compared, there were also some interesting findings.  For example, our lake will continue to be resistant to acid rain, there were no metals at levels of significant concern and nutrients were not particularly high.  The chemical makeup of lake water is usually stable and unlikely to change significantly from one year to the next.

The levels of each chemical analysed are reported in the results spreadsheet, below.
